Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Commander of the Security Forces – West (SF- West), visited the 61 Infantry Division, 613 Infantry Brigade and 9 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 11 September 2024.

The Commander was warmly welcomed by Senior Officers from the Division, Brigade and Battalion and then accorded a Guard Turnout.

During the visit, Commander, SF- West planted a sapling at each camp premises and posed for group photographs with the troops. A comprehensive briefing was provided by the Senior Officers, detailing the role, tasks, and current situation in the Area of Responsibility.

Following the briefings, the Commander addressed the troops. He concluded his visit by joining the All-Ranks tea, engaging with Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks.
