Major General A.H.L.G. Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Commander, Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, was honoured with the most prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award 2024' at the Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Awards & Sri Lanka Leadership Awards 2024 held at Taj Samudra, Colombo on 05 September 2024.

He was honoured with the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' by the World HRD Congress and CMO Asia for his distinguished career in HR.

At the award ceremony, Major General A.H.L.G. Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, was presented with accolades, including the 'HR Oriented CEO Award' to Veteran Banker Russel Fonseka, the CEO of Bank of Ceylon.
