Major W.M.V.K Dasanayake of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps showcased Sri Lanka's name through Kathak dance at Patali Putra University on 24 August 2024. Her performance highlighted the rich traditions of Kathak, a classical Indian dance form known for its expressive storytelling and intricate footwork.

Following this, she participated in the Krishan Janmashtami Cultural Performance organized by the Patna branch of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in India on August 25 and 26 August 2024.
