The Basic Disaster Response Training Course No. 23 concluded on 14 August 2024 at the Sri Lanka Army Centre for Disaster Response Training (SLACDRT), Gampola.

This training course was conducted from 08 July 2024 to 14 August 2024 with the participation of 06 Officers and 197 Other Ranks. The First in Order of Merit was awarded to Second Lieutenant J.L.P. Irundika of the Sri Lanka National Guard. The closing address was delivered by Colonel R.M.H.P.K. Rathnayake, the Commandant of SLACDRT.
