A Diners’ Club chaired by Major General S.W.M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Commander, Security Forces (West), and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) was held at Armoured Corp Training Centre (ACTC) – Kalaththewa on 24 July 2024.

ACTC, 3 SLAC, 4 SLAC, 6 SLAC (RFT), and 7 (V) SLAC organized the event with the intention of improving the knowledge, professionalism, event organizing skills of Middle-Grade Officers at the unit level and respective SFHQ AOR while widening the horizons of knowledge on Military strategic leader through professionalism and intellectualism.

Commandant - ACTC and all Officers attached to ACTC, Middle-Grade Officers under 3 SLAC, 4 SLAC, 6 SLAC (RFT) and 7 (V) SLAC participated in the event.

Colonel A.H.R Hasantha RSP psc, the Commandant - ACTC, warmly welcomed the Colonel Commandant - SLAC upon arrival and accompanied him for the pre-session, which was followed by the lecture. Lieutenant Colonel D.M.V.M.R Dissanayaka RWP RSP psc, the Commanding Officer, 4 SLAC delivered the vote of thanks and finally, all gathered for the after-session and dinner, marking the end of the day’s program.
