Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Director General of Financial Management and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, attended the Annual Zonal Sports Meet of the Matugama Zonal Education as the Chief Guest. The event was held at C.W.W. Kannangara Central College Ground, Matugama on 09 August 2024.

The sports meet featured numerous athletic events, band displays, and various other performances. In an inspiring address, the Chief Guest highlighted the importance of fair play and sportsmanship, emphasizing their ability to instill resilience, determination, and unity among students. Additionally, he penned his complimentary remarks in the visitors' book.
