Major General M.T.I Mahalekam WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 53 Infantry Division, visited 532 Infantry Brigade on 08 August 2024.

Upon arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Brigadier C.P Wickramarathne RSP USP, the Commander of the 532 Infantry Brigade and then accorded a Guard Turnout by the troops. Following this, the visiting Senior Officer planted a sapling near the office premises. A group photograph was then taken in front of the office to mark the occasion followed by all Ranks tea.
