The newly appointed General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 52 Infantry Division Major General P.R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, visited 521 Infantry Brigade, 522 Infantry Brigade, 523 Infantry Brigade and under command Infantry Battalions on 02, 04 and 08 July 2024.

The visiting GOC was honored in a Guard Turnout at each Brigade and Battalion by Commanders of the respective Brigades and Commanding Officers of respective Battalions.

Throughout the visit, the GOC engaged in detailed briefings related to the role, tasks and current operational status of the respective Brigades and Battalions. The GOC also visited important places in the Area of Responsibility including religious places, ammunitions dump and roadblocks managed by military personnel.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
