Under the guidance of Major General I.A.N.B Perera RWP USP ndu psc, the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services (CES) organized a gathering for former Colonel Commandants of the CES on 02 August 2024 at Officers’ Mess to honour their exemplary and dedicated service for the betterment of the CES and Sri Lanka Army.

The distinguished invitees were warmly welcomed at the entrance by Major General I. A. N. B Perera RWP USP ndu psc, the Colonel Commandant of CES along with Mrs, Uditha Perera, the Chairperson of Corps of Engineer Services Seva Vanitha Branch (CES-SVB). The Colonel Commandant of CES welcomed the gathering conveying his deep appreciation for the significant achievements made by the prior Colonel Commandants of CES.

Mementos were presented for the former Colonel Commandants of the CES as a gesture of appreciation at the culmination of the event. The event also featured interactive sessions that facilitated insightful discussions between current and former leaders.

Senior Officers, their spouses, and other distinguished guests participated in the gathering.
