Major General J.P.C. Peris RWP RSP ndc, the Commander of Security Force – Wanni (SF - Wanni), paid a courtesy visit to Most Reverend Dr. Fidelis Lionel Emmanuel Fernando, Bishop of Mannar, at the Bishop’s House on 03 August 2024. The Bishop extended his best wishes to the Commander, SF - Wanni during their cordial discussion.

Following this, Commander SF - Wanni visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Madhu, where he met Reverend Father P. Gnanpragasam of Madu Church. The Commander discussed the security measures being implemented for the upcoming Madhu Feast and was blessed by Father Gnanpragasam in recognition of his dedication to the country.
