Major General I.A.N.B. Perera RWP USP ndu psc, the Military Secretary and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES), visited the 10 (Volunteer) Engineer Services Regiment (10 (V) ESR) on 04 August 2024.

The Commanding Officer of 10 (V) ESR, Major R.P.A Rohana USP, warmly welcomed the visiting Colonel Commandant, followed by a Guard Turnout by the troops of 10 (V) ESR.

Following this, the visiting Senior Officer planted a sapling. Afterwards, the Colonel Commandant posed for a group photograph with all Officers of the unit. This was followed by a troop address, where he commended the unit’s dedication and professionalism. Subsequently, an exchange of mementos took place to mark the significance of the day's event, followed by a camp visit.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Senior Officer penned down some complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
