The outgoing Deputy Defence Attaché of the Embassy of the United States of America in Sri Lanka, Mr. Jacob English paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake this evening Wednesday (4).

He was also accompanied by Ms. Kareen Gleisner, the incoming Deputy Defence Attaché to the Embassy of the United States in Colombo. The courtesy call was held at the office of the Commander of the Army at the Army Headquarters, Colombo.

The cordial discussion that followed ended with exchange of mementos to mark the occasion.

Lieutenant General Senanayake expressed his gratitude to Mr. Jacob for his co-operation given to the Army during his tenure of office for promotion of bilateral defence relations and understanding between the two organizations.
