The Sri Lanka Karate-Do Federation organized a Karate Championship Tournament at the indoor stadium of Bandaragama from April 27 to 29, 2024. Under the guidance of Major General S.W.M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the President of the Sri Lanka Army Karate Committee, Army players participated in the tournament.

The Army players displayed exceptional prowess, clinching a total of 08 Gold Medals, 05 Silver Medals and 15 Bronze Medals across various categories.
