Colonel Malick Thiaw, Defence Advisor for the Embassy of Senegal accredited to India and Sri Lanka and the Defence Advisor of the High Commission of Pakistan in Sri Lanka, Colonel Sajjad Ali, paid separate courtesy calls on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake at the Army Headquarters on Thursday (28).

Discussions that ensued between the Commander of the Army and both foreign envoys focused on matters of general interest and importance.

At the end of separate interactive meetings, mementos were also exchanged as symbols of goodwill and friendship.
