SLE-SVB Vested another New House for a Civil Employee

Further extending the welfare projects towards the members of the Sri Lanka Army, Mrs. Shammi Jayawardena, the President, of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLE-SVB) warmed another new house to a deserving family on 13 May 2024.

Accordingly, civil employee S. G Sunil Gunarathne received a new house making his dream a reality during a simple ceremony graced by Mrs. Shammi Jayawardena, the President, SLE-SVB and Major General M.K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu, Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE).

SLE-SVB extended the much-required financial assistance while 1 Field Sri Lanka Engineers extended their manpower and technical expertise for the completion of the house consecution.

The new house was erected at the request of the beneficiary under a housing project that aimed to provide permanent shelters for fallen, differently-abled, retired, and in-service War Heroes and civil employees in the Sri Lanka Army.

Colonel F Joseph USP, the Centre Commandant, Sri Lanka Engineers, Senior Officers, Lady Officers, members of SLE-SVB were participated in the house warming ceremony.
