Troops of the 57 Infantry Division at the request of Ven. Ingiriye Sri Dharmalankara Thero, Incumbent at Kilinochchi Lumbini Viharaya constructed a shrine room plus a table for offerings and vested it in devotees on Sunday (14 May) amidst religious observances.

General Officer Commanding, 57 Infantry Division Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc who provided manpower and technical support of the troops for construction work attended the inaugural occasion with several Senior Officers of the 57 Infantry Division and Other Ranks participated.
