At the request of the school principal at Maduruoya Kandegama Kanishta Vidyalaya, the troops serving the Army Training School (ATS) at Maduru Oya provided their assistance to renovate the roof of a building at Kandegama Kanishta Vidayalaya, Maduruoya during 17 -18 February.

School teachers and parents of students also supported the renovation work.

Major General Senaka Kasthurimudali, Commandant, ATS provided necessary guidance for the renovation project.
