Brigadier D. Udaya Kumar USP of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps assumed office as the new Director of the Directorate of Army Benevolent Fund on 24 July 2024 at his office in Panagoda during a brief ceremony.

The newly appointed Director signed an official document, signifying his acceptance of the new office amidst religious observances.

Staff Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Directorate were also present at the occasion.
