Major General P.K.W.W.M.J.S.B.W Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, the newly appointed General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 12 Infantry Division, made an official visit to the 121 Infantry Brigade, the 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, and the 18 Gemunu Watch on 24 July 2024.

The GOC received a warm welcome upon arrival from the Commander of the Brigade and the respective Commanding Officers of the Battalions. Senior Officers briefed regarding the responsibilities, roles, and tasks of the Brigade and respective Battalions to the GOC.

Afterwards, GOC addressed the troops by appreciating the duties carried out during recently concluded Kataragama Esala Festival. Finally, he emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of discipline among all Ranks while stressing the need to raise awareness about illegal activities.
