Under the direction of the General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division, troops of the Engineer Services Regiment conducted a Shramadana Campaign at Sithulpauwa Rajamaha Viharaya. Responding to a request from the Chief Incumbent, this effort aimed to address critical infrastructure challenges.

As a result, 24 toilets that were severely damaged by wild elephants were repaired. This task ensured sanitary facilities for over 200,000 devotees during the Poson Festival.
