The 'Ride with Pride' bicycle tour, which commenced on 28 April 2024 from Galle Face, culminated its journey of 1247 km on 11 May 2024, amidst the cheers of a gathering of Officers and Other Ranks at Galle Face.

This bike ride was undertaken by three Army veterans: Major General S.R Balasuriya (Rtd) USP, Major General K.P.S Premalal (Rtd) RWP RSP USP and Colonel W.N.P.S.K Perera (Rtd) RWP RSP.

The tour embarked from Galle Face and traversed through a diverse array of landscapes including Kalpitiya, Pooneryn, Kankesanthurai, Mullaitivu, Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Pottuvil, Katharagama, Tangalle and Aluthgama before returning to its starting point at Galle Face.

Throughout the journey, serving and retired Senior Officers, Officers, and members of the Army, including three cyclists from each Regiment at specific locations, joined the tour to show solidarity and encourage the riders, making it a truly memorable and meaningful experience for all involved.
