The cultivation of a paddy field near Army Headquarters, covering 8.5 acres, took place on May 8. Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Director General Financial Management and the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services graced the event as the chief guest at the request of the Director of Corps of Agriculture and Livestock.

The cultivation process was planned and executed, in line with modern technologies from cultivation to harvesting. This integration of advanced techniques enhances productivity and also highlights progressive agricultural practices.
