The troops of the 112 Infantry Brigade organized a school accessories donation program for four needy students who excelled in the General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Exam at Haldummulla Tamil School on 10 March 2024 at the school premises. The event was graced by Colonel W.A.J. Hemachandra RSP psc, the Commander of the 112 Infantry Brigade.

Generous philanthropists based in the USA provided financial contributions for the charity work and they expect to supply essential school supplies to those students until they complete their Advanced Level exams.
