Two-eight man teams of the Army Monday (12) evening joined hands with the Police, Special Task Force (STF) and Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) personnel for search of 5 civilians who had gone on an adventure tour at Hamilton estate area in Lakshapana, Nallathanniya.

However, search teams were able to trace those 5 missing persons including 2 ladies at the first light on Wednesday (14) from Seven Virgins’ mountain range.

19 Sri Lanka National Guard Troops under the 112 Brigade contributed to this rescue operation.
