Lieutenant General Crishanthe de Silva, Commander of the Army was one among distinguished invitees to the workshop, ‘Dialogue on Counter Terrorism and the Proposed Counter Terrorism Act of Sri Lanka’, organized jointly by the United Nations and the Government of Sri Lanka on Tuesday (8) at Galle Face Hotel.

Making opening remarks as the co-chair in the two-day workshop, Defence Secretary Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi said that this is an important and timely dialogue.

Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi, Secretary to the Ministry of Law and Order, Mr. Jagath Wijeweera, Acting UN Resident Coordinator, Mr. Alain Sibenaler, senior Defence Ministry officials, CDS, tri forces Commanders and high ranking state and UN officials were present at the occasion.
