Troops at the Centre for Army Vocational Training (CAVT) in Kala Oya with the support given by donors gifted school accessories to 30 needy students living in Kalaoya, Munamalgaswewa area on 2 September at Munamalgaswewa Primary School.

Brigadier H.V.A. Somaweera RWP RSP USP, Commandant, CAVT initiated the project and coordinated the sponsorship of well-wishers, including Mr Priyan Perera, a Colombo-based philanthropist who provided the financial contribution to the event.

Senior Officers, Officers and other Ranks were present during the donation programme.
