Colonel Muhammad Safdar Khan, Defence Advisor of the High Commission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Sri Lanka during a tour to the East visited the Army Training School (ATS) at Maduru Oya on Wednesday (26 April).

Colonel M.T.A.C Gunawardena RSP psc Commanding Officer, ATS extended a warm welcome to the visiting Senior Officer and showed him around the compound before he was presented with a brief account of its curriculum and how foreign students are absorbed into those ATS courses.

Towards the end of the interactions, the Commandant awarded a memento to the visiting Defence Advisor as a symbol of goodwill and appreciation of his visit to the location.
