14 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops of the Security Force HQ -Mullaitivu conducted a community programme to clean the surroundings of Mannakandal Primary School on Monday (Jan 30) with the intention of preventing any outbreak of Dengue fever in the area.

The project was initiated by Major R.M.N.L Rajanayake, Acting Commanding Officer, 14 SLSR under the guidance of Brigadier Bandula Kolonne, Commander, 641 Infantry Brigade, Major General Nissanka Eriyagama, General Officer Commanding, 64 Infantry Division and Major General Darshana Wijesekara, Commander, Security Forces -Mullaittivu.

One Officer and 10 Other Ranks participated in the programme, conducted during morning hours.
