Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ - MLT) on Wednesday (Dec 14) bade farewell to the outgoing SF-MLT Commander, Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe, who completed more than one year of his tenure in Mullaittivu.

The outgoing Commander was warmly welcomed by Brigadier Suresh Perera, Brigadier General Staff, SFHQ - MLT and the Headquarter staff on arrival and saluted in a colourful drive past Guard Turnout. Afterwards, the day's Chief Guest was invited to pose for a group photograph before he spoke to the troops and thanked all of them for the support given. Commander, Forward Maintenance Area -Mullaittivu - FMA (MLT), General Officers Commanding of 57, 59, 64, 66, and 68 Infantry Divisions were present.

As the final segment of the arrangement, the outgoing Mullaittivu Commander joined an all rank tea. Staff Officers and representatives of Other Ranks presented several tokens of appreciation.
