The Foundation of Goodness, (Guna Jaya Sathuta Padanama) of Mr. Kushil Gunasekara which has been active in supporting humanitarian gestures of the Army once again sponsored the donation of 200 dry ration packs among low income group families, resident in the general areas of Kungenkulam, Madurankernikulam and Kirimichchiya in the East.

Accordingly, 6 Gajaba Regiment troops serving those areas on Wednesday (26) collected the beneficiaries to the Cultural Centre at Kungenkulam and supported the distribution of those relief packs, each worth Rs 3500/= to selected 200 families.

Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, Commander, Security Forces - East attended the distribution as Chief Guest, together with Senior Officers of the Security Force HQ - East.
