MGO Evaluates Needs at SFHQ - West & 8 SLLI

The Master General Ordnance (MGO) and overlooking Quarter Master General, Major General Hirosha Wanigasekara under the guidance of the Commander of the Army undertook a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters - West and 8 Sri Lanka Light Infantry camp on Thursday (27) in order to evaluate administrative, quartering and logistics, related to those establishments.

As per guidelines given by the Commander, Security Forces - West, Major General Deepal Pussella, the visit was coordinated by Brigadier D.A Amarasekara, Brigadier Admin and Quartering, together with Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Nilantha Premaratne of the Security Forces - West.

At first, Major General Hirosha Wanigasekera visited the Security Force Headquarters - West at Panagoda Army Cantonment where he was welcomed by West Commander, Brigadier AQ and Brigadier General Staff.

Afterwards, a conference attended by the West Commander, MGO and Senior Officers discussed salient factors, pertaining to administration and logistics for the year 2022/2023.

General Officers Commanding of 14 and 61 Divisions, Brigade Commanders, respective Commanding Officers and several Senior Officers participated in the conference. Afterwards, the visiting MGO called at the 8 Sri Lanka Light Infantry camp at Delgoda in order to find out their needs and evaluate requirements for the forthcoming 2022/2023.

He was greeted with a drive pass before he sat for an interactive meeting session in order to identify and learn about their requirements.
