A total of 16 Officers and 132 Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, on the guidelines given by Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa, Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force listened to a lecture on ‘Army Welfare facilities’ delivered by Major M.K.R Bandara, Staff Officer 2 at Directorate of Welfare.

The gathering at the Headquarters was educated on the role and tasks of three wings functional in the Directorate of Welfare, namely, the Routine Welfare Wing, Welfare Association Funds Wing and Suwasahana Wing and its benefits.

The lecture on training day got underway under the supervision of Major General Thusitha Silva, Deputy Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.
