Military Intelligence Corps and 11 Sri Lanka Artillery troops of the 54 Division in Mannar under the Security Force HQ-Wanni recovered 71.59 gm of ICE (approximately Rs 461,500/= ) at the Mannar roadblock on Friday (07).

During the check at the roadblock, an unclaimed packet of the drug, ICE was found from an SLTB bus on its way to Colombo from Thalaimannr at around 10.00 pm. Army troops handed over those packs of narcotics to the Mannar Police station for further investigations.

Mannar Police took the bus driver and conductor in for questioning.
