Troops of the 5 (V) Mechanized Infantry Regiment of the 661 Brigade under the 66 Division of the Security Force HQ - Mullaittivu laid the foundation stone for construction of a new house for a selected needy family in Sellipuram Mullattivu area on Tuesday (4).

The sponsorship for the proposed house is provided by a philanthropist in the area who has the fullest confidence in the Army for its skills and technical know-how.

Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu as the Chief Guest laid the corner-stone, together with Brigade Commanders of the 611, 662 and 663 Brigades at the invitation of Brigadier S.J Priyadharshana, General Officer Commanding, 66 Division.
