In response to a request made by the chief incumbent at Wadduwa, Daladawatta Purana Maha Viharaya, the Security Force Headquarters-West contributed their assistance to conduct a workshop on ‘Leadership’ for school students on 12 September 2022 at the temple premises.

The workshop was led by the Commanding Officer of 12 Field Engineers, Lieutenant Colonel K. A. N. P. K Kodithuwakku. Around 30 students and teachers from Wadduwa Central College, Wadduwa Girls' School, Wadduwa St. Mary's College, Weragama Junior College, and Pinwatta Junior College attended the workshop.

During this workshop, students were educated on how to behave in society as well-mannered students, the way to become a respectable person in society, importance of mutual respect and the value of teamwork, etc.
