The Sri Lanka Army IT experts, extending its expertise to the Civil Security Department (CSD) of Sri Lanka, one of the oldest supportive security wings, established in mid 1980s assisted to digitalize it database by applying the indigenous product, named “Human Resource Management” on Thursday (13).

In this connection, a novel software solution was introduced to a stand alone system that manages Human Resource Infrastructure for around 35,000 personnel of the CSD. The system designed by the Army is implemented by the Directorate of IT of the Army.

It was officially commissioned on 13 Sep 2022 in the presence of the Director General of Civil Security Department Major General Ranjan Lamahewage (Retd), Director IT of Sri Lanka Army Brigadier Sajith Liyanage and Senior Officers of the Civil Security Department Headquarters at Katubedda, Moratuwa.
