Troops of the 6 Gemunu Watch (GW) under command to the 681 Brigade of the 68 Division of the Security Force HQ- Mullaittivu on their own took an initiative and showed their generosity towards needy families in the Theravil Grama Niladhari sector by donating dry ration packs for five needy families on Wednesday (31).

Troops spending their own money prepared those dry ration packs, consisted of dhal, sugar, spices, cereals, flour and rice. The Commanding Officer of the 6 GW Battalion supervised the distribution.
