Major General Sugath Rathnayake, Commander, Forward Maintenance Area - East (FMA- East) during 8-12 August visited several under command logistic units with a view to receiving updates on the role and tasks of respective units.

During the visit, Major General Sugath Rathnayake visited the camps of 3 Corps of Engineer Services, 4 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, 5 Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, 2 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and the 5 (v) Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock and identified the nature of their service roles and other matters of concern to the FMA-East.

In addition, he had separate meetings with respective Commanding Officers of those logistic units and instructed them accordingly.
