Troops of the 561 Brigade located in Kanagarayankulam set up a drinking water supply point for those traveling along the A9 road and inaugurated it on Tuesday (2).

The project as a community assistance would help the travellers to collect purified drinking water from this point since the road patch along this busy main road does not have access to any place for water.

The inauguration took place in the presence of the Commander, 561 Brigade, Colonel Priyanga Kulathilake. The General Officer Commanding, 56 Division and the Commander Security Forces - Wanni gave their blessings to the project.
