Troops of the 14 Division under command to the Security Forces- West took steps to distribute a stock of oximeters that had been gifted to the Army Commander among needy families in Athurugiriya, Mulleriyawa and Kaduwela areas recently .

During this donation programme, those oximeters that could measure oxygen levels were donated to needy families who are undergoing self-quarantining at homes on PHIs and medical advice.

A stock of oximeters was received from General Shavendra Silva from various donors for distribution among the most needed.

Major General Sujeewa Senerath Yapa, Commander Security Forces - West gave away necessary directions to the General Officer Commanding OC 14 Division to carry out the distribution programme.
