Brigadier Priyantha Abeysinghe of the Sri Lanka General Service Corps assumed office as the 11th Director at Directorate of Army Benevolent Fund on Monday (09) in his office at Panagoda during a brief ceremony.

The newly-appointed Director after religious observances left his signature in an official document, signifying the acceptance of his new office.

Staff officers of the Directorate, together with few Other Ranks attended the occasion, adhering to health restrictions. He succeeds Brigadier Saliya Padmashantha who has been assumes office as Director Budget and Finance Army Headquarters.
