118 Deaths Reported - NOCPCO

As of this morning (11), a total of 2,922 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 18 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 2,904 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 511 from Colombo District, 402 from Gampaha District, 363 from Kalutara District and 1,628 others from different Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
By this morning (11), a total of 339,091 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 228,058 were reported after the New Year.
By Wednesday (11) morning (past 24 hours), 2,644 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 10 August, 118 more deaths have been reported including 79 males and 39 females.
As of Wednesday (11), 4,581 persons in 67 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Wednesday (11) morning, 732 persons have left 18 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.
