15 Sri Lankan Expatriates among the Affected- NOCPCO

As of this morning (10), a total of 2,953 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 15 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 2,938 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 767 from Gampaha District, 440 from Kalutara District, 312 from Colombo District and 1,419 others from different Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
By this morning (10), a total of 332,946 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 221,985 were reported after the New Year.
By Tuesday (10) morning (past 24 hours), 2,661 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 08 August, 111 more deaths have been reported including 56 males and 55 females.
As of Tuesday (10), 4,445 persons in 64 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Tuesday (10) morning, 582 persons have left 19 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.
