Troops of the 121 Brigade of the 12 Division under the Security Force HQ-Central brought a wildfire that broke out atop the Moneragala - Hulandawa Forest Reserve under control within a few hours on Tuesday (3).

Troops swiftly reached the affected area and collectively worked to extinguish the spreading of the wildfire before the whole forest range caught fire.

Commander, 121 Brigade closely supervised and coordinated the project on the guidelines given by the General Officer Commanding, 12 Division.
