With a view to enhancing awareness on welfare relief measures and the importance of discipline among all ranks, a combined educative project, launched by Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe, Adjutant General at the AHQ, Brigadier Anil Illangakoon, Provost Marshal and Brigadier Kanishka Heiyanthuduwa, Director Welfare got underway covering Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu, Kilinochchi, Wanni and the 21 Division Headquarters during 3 - 5 July.

The educative lectures were delivered on the directions of General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defense Staff and Commander of the Army in order to refresh knowledge on welfare and disciplinary matters.

Commanders of Mullaittivu, Kilinochchi, Wanni and the General Officer Commanding, 21 Division and senior officers of respective formations took part in those arrangements.
