Troops of the 17 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment(VIR) of the 561 Brigade under the 56 Brigade HQ gifted dry ration packets to five underprivileged families in Nedunkerni area on Monday (28).

The generous project received the blessings of the General Officer Commanding, 56 Division, Major General Nandana Dunuwila and the Commander 561 Brigade, Brigadier Priyantha Rathnayake. Those beneficiaries were selected in consultation with the Grama Niladari official in the area.
