Extending their community assistance, 512 Brigade troops of the 51 Division launched a Shramadana campaign to rid waste paper, garbage and environmental pollutants from the Our Lady of Refuge Church premises in Jaffna on Friday (25).

In a bid to promote gestures of reconciliation and religious amity, the project received the blessings of the Major General Priyantha Perera, Commander Security Force - Jaffna and the Major General Deepal Pussella, 51 Division General Officer Commanding (GOC).

Major General Deepal Pussella, General Officer Commanding, 51 Division and the 512 Brigade Commander, Brigadier Chinthaka Rajapaksha closely supervised the cleaning drive.
