Troops of the 613 Brigade under the 61 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - West distributed a stock of dry rations and sanitary items among the inmates at the ICC in Akuressa Hospital on Wednesday (16).

The donation was sponsored by a group of donors and philanthropists for the 50 COVID - 19 patients under treatment at this ICC by considering needs of them.

As per guidelines given by Major General Vikum Liyanage, Commander Security Forces - West, the distribution programme was carried out under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 61 Division Major General Dammi Hewage by Brigadier Upul Kodithuwakku, Commander 613 Brigade with the coordination of Hospital authorities.
