With the sponsorship received from Sri Subodharama International Buddhist Centre, Peradeniya, 57 Division troops of the Security Force HQ-Kilinochchi on Thursday (10) distributed more than 75 dry ration packs among needy families in Kilinochchi.

As per guidelines given by Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, Commander Security Forces- Kilinochchi, the distribution programme was carried out under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 57 Division Major General Priyantha Jayawardane after identifying the families who were undergoing hardships due to COVID-19 spread in the area.

Moreover, the Civil Affairs Officer at SFHQ-KLN Lieutenant Colonel L Kithsiri coordinated the programme.
