Troops of the 59 Division under command to the Security Force HQ-Mullaittivu carried out a 'Sharmadana' (self-help) campaign around the Mullaittivu Hospital compound and its staff quarters premises on Friday (11).

12 Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops of the 59 Division took part in the project after a request to this effect was made to the Army by health authorities.

This programme was conducted on the directions of Major General Upali Rajapaksha, Commander Security Forces-Mullaittivu under the supervision of Major General P. D Sooriya Bandara, General Officer Commanding, 59 Division.
